A woman sits on a bus stop
across the street from a small brick firehouse and
a mexican restaurant named after a work of byron
the bus comes and she doesn’t get on
down the street is another mexican restaurant
called sangrias and a gas station
that says 24/7 in neon color
above the entrance and closes at eleven
I suppose she thinks she has everything she needs
and I suppose she’s right
